Joeys & Cubs Swimming Night

Dear parents,

The Agoomp is unavailable this Friday night so we have decided to bring forward our outing to this coming Friday – Swimming at the Willoughby Leisure Centre.

The Joeys will have a fun time swimming and playing, and the Cubs will earn their Swimmer Achievement badges whist having a great time in the pool.

Details:

• Drop-Off and Pickup – 7pm sharp to 8:30pm
  
• Cost for Cubs/Joeys - $10 ea for entry, swimming, and a snack
  
• Uniform for attendance – Khaki T-shirt, short, sneakers
  
• Other things required – Swimmers/Speedo’s/Board shorts, goggles (if required by your child), towel, extra T-shirt and shorts for Gold & Silver Boomerang Cubs.

Joey parents: Although we will have 2 leaders taking care of the Joeys we do need a number of parents in the water with them to help keep the Joeys out of trouble in the water, and we therefore ask that if your Joey son or daughter is swimming that you can organize for a parent to come and help supervise.

Cub parents: If your son or daughter is in the Gold or Silver Boomerang group they need to bring an EXTRA t-shirt and pair of shorts for some of the activities where they have to swim with the clothes on. Also, the Level 1 and Level 2 Swimmer Achievement badges involve swimming 25 – 50 meters so please when confirming attendance inform us if your child is not a strong swimmer. We will have leaders in the water with them, however, it is best for us to know from the outset.
