Basketball COACHING CLINIC

Event Date  1st July 2018


Homenetmen Antranig Basketball Committee is holding a Basketball Coaching Clinic and invites all current coaches, and managers to attend.

The course will be held at Homenetmen Indoor Sports Academy - Galstaun College, 5 Chiltern Road Ingleside.

  • Date: 1st July 2018
  • Time: 10:00am - 11:30am
  • Who: All current Junior coaches  & managers*
Note: Managers are encouraged to attend as they may have to help the coach when needed, or you may want to move into a coaching role in the fture.

The Coaching clinic will be focusing on helping coaches create training plans and run drill that teach fundamentals to our junior basketball teams.

We will provide you with ideas on structuring your training sessions and engaging players for the entire session.   We will also be providing drills for fundamental skills

  • footwork
  • dribbling
  • passing
  • shooting,
  • defence
  • offence


As well as introducing some areas of our play that we aim to make consistent accross all the teams in the club.
